​Rescue Diver at Dive World Austin

All Rescue courses will meet on Friday at 6 pm to go over knowledge reviews and practice a rescue scenario in the pool (wear a swimsuit and bring personal dive gear!). Then on Saturday and Sunday, we meet at Lake Travis for training dives. 

Note: Do your homework! You’ll need to enroll at least one week prior to class. This will allow you adequate time to complete all training materials.

Rescue Diver + Emergency First Responder + Emergency Oxygen Provider Bundle 

Cost: $740

Earn your Emergency First Responder (a $200 value), Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty (a $140.00 value), and Rescue Diver Certification with a bundled deal. Must call or sign up in-store for bundled pricing! 

 

Emergency First Responder (or any first aid +CPR class) is a prerequisite to Rescue Diver.

Read the Diver Medical Form carefully to determine if you need a physician's approval to participate in this course.

Emergency First Response® primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive.

Emergency Oxygen Provider

About the Course

Knowing how and when to administer emergency oxygen is a valuable skill to have in a dive emergency. PADI® Emergency Oxygen Provider prepares you to offer aid and teaches you to recognize scuba diving injuries and illnesses requiring emergency oxygen.

This is an excellent course for scuba divers, boat crew, lifeguards, freedivers, mermaids, or anyone who spends time in and around water. No age restrictions or water sessions are required.
